I am so fucking tired of the casual sexism that constantly and directly attacks and belittles women's sexuality.

In the gaming communities and anime communities especially, things I want to enjoy, are unashamedly ingrained with casual sexism. Sexism that always, ALWAYS Targets and shame's women's sexuality.

And Frankly I'm fucking tired of this shit.

Story Time:

I'm in a discord server made by a very old friend, a friend whom I played games with for years, along time ago.

Today Horizon Zero Dawn gets announced for PC, Fucking awesome. I have been saying for years if it ever comes out for PC, I'm so buying it.

I love the concept and idea, and the lead character is female. I always feel more comfortable playing a female lead character, and female characters in game.

I seem to have more fun with it. Mirror's Edge, Tomb Raider, Xenosaga, Bayonetta, Dawn of War Soulstorm, and ofc many multiplayer games that give you plenty of female characters to play like Dota2, Quake, MMORPGs and others. If given the chance I will play a female character.

So naturally im a bit more interested in this game coming out than many others.

I post the news of the game coming out in the discord server and conversation moves along. I'm feeling a bit tired I head off for a nap, only to wake up come back to my PC pull up discord and ... Bam right in my face is some fucking asshole's photoshopped up PS4 box art of HZD With "HOES MAD" all over the fucking front cover.

Fucking serious?

I call out the dude who posted it, say that "I'm so tired of the casual sexism."

Someone else defends him saying "it's just a meme"

And my friend, the admin of the server comes by, and says he's ok with it because it's a meme.

Yet another anime+gaming oriented community I drop out of because, once again casual fucking sexism against women in the most low hanging and belittling way... and the admin is ok with it.

BTW this is not even close to the first time these little casual sexism slips and defenses have happen.

I grow so fucking tired of every little insult and criticism of women boils down to insulting a woman's sexuality. It's gross, and disgusting and intolerant, and I'm fucking tired of it.

And even worse when I wake up from a happy nap, and the first fucking thing I see pop up is this shit in my face and 3 assholes defending it.
