Special Activities Division

What is S.A.D?

Special Activities Division (S.A.D) is a department within the Directorate of Science and Technology. The DS&T is a division of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). S.A.D is charged with being responsible for high-threat military/covert operations that the United States government does not want to be associated with. The operators inside S.A.D rarely carry gear or clothing that associate them with the United States.

If S.A.D operators are ever compromised, the United States government may deny all knowledge of their existence. The group selects operatives from other special mission units such as Delta Force, MARSOC, DEVGRU, ISA, Force Reconnaissance, as well as other United States Special Operations Forces and from within the agency.

When does S.A.D do Operations?

S.A.D and its Officers usually conduct operations on Friday and Saturday with a starting time of 9pm PST.

Hiring Requirements

Experience

Here at S.A.D, we look for applicants with or without experience. Preferred recruits have a willingness to work in a tight nit unit. S.A.D leans more for previous SF milsim members that are interested in working in a more clandestine and non-permissive environment. However, we do not expect every new recruit to be the tip of the spear operators and do not shy away from those with little to no experience.

Age

The age requirement for S.A.D is 17 years of age. We look for mature players with a sense to help this group grow and prosper. However, age waivers can be given depending on maturity and other factors. Any applicants under 17 will be interviewed by S.A.D’s Headquarters staff.

Time

S.A.D needs its members whenever they are available. We are a family oriented unit full of dads, husbands, students and professionals. However, this is not always for playing Arma 3. S.A.D is a group of close individuals who enjoy their time together and want to be around each other. We ask for your attendance and will take attendance every event such as planning, OPs, and trainings. We ask you to have communication with us, and we will not have a problem. Therefore attendance is not required but communication is.
