"Broccoli" error in Destiny 2, but no problem in other games

I just bought a brand new late 2019 Razer Blade 15 advanced with the rtx 2080 max-q and 240hz screen with i7-9750h. It runs all other games just amazing. It is a truly excellent machine, but I can't get it to run destiny 2 for longer than about 15 min before just crashing with a broccoli error. I've tried deleting and reinstalling 3 times, I tried underclocking both the memory and gpu, and I've run afterburner in a window when it crashed in an attempt to find the issue. I could not find anything correlating with the crash. I'm at my wits end with this thing, anybody got any ideas?
