What branch of EE uses this type of math and programming?

So in terms of math, I am good with anything. However, I have a special liking to ODE and PDE. I also enjoy any type of analysis. I understand that these things are ubiquitous in EE, but what branch uses this kind of math the most in actual industry?

For programming, most of my knowledge comes from things like C++, Matlab, and Python. I’m open to learn whatever languages that aide in the math I enjoy most, but I tend to stay away from lower level programming languages (VHDL, Assembly).

I’m being particularly picky in this post just to narrow the focus on things that match well.
