WF-1000XM3 intermittent garbled call audio

Every couple of calls or so after wearing the buds and listening to music,etc I will go to make or answer a call and the audio is completely garbled. Anyone experience this? Sometimes disconnecting and reconnecting the buds will clear the issue. Phone is Galaxy Note 10+.
