Golden Wind/Vento Aureo Hate?

Why is part 5 of JoJo disliked by many? I've seen many people criticizing this part saying it was the weakest of the series. Personally I enjoyed it, probably my favorite of the anime. But, the rolling stones bit towards the end did ruin it for me (imo) and if it wasnt for that storyline I felt the ending would have been so much better! Still not bad, overall the story was decent.
