I'm only worth talking to if I look nice
Due to senioritis, my outfits have been very lazy. I mostly wear a hoodie and Jean's and keep my hair up in a lazy bun that I don't wash for too long. Last night I decided to brush out all the knots in my hair which took well over and hour because my hair is really long. This morning I decided to wear my hair because it actually looked nice. When I went to grab my hoodie out of the dryer, it was partially inside out, so the hood part was still uncomfortably damp. I decided to leave it down because of that. When I got to school, I just noticed more people waving to me in the hallways and whatever. But more people approached me as well. While walking to one class, 3 different people approached me. I know this might not seem like much, but people would rarely make eye contact with me when I would have my hair and hood up. My drama teacher even approached me and asked how I was doing which he usually doesn't do. I said I was okay, and he was like oh what's wrong. (In reality things were neutral, but there's not really a good way to say aren't good or bad. I just lied about how I had a hard assignment.) It's just annoying that I'm only seen when I put effort into my appearance. Has anyone else noticed anything similar?
