Void Edge patch uninstalled itself...

I was getting horrid ping in game today so I switched networks, which made it so that I had to restart both the game and Steam because they were still showing as offline. When I got back online on Steam I tried launching the game only to be prompted with starting the 65gb update again.....which was finished while I was at work earlier today.

I don't understand. I was just playing the game 5 minutes ago, with the new operators and everything. I didn't touch any game files, and launched it as I usually do. My game folder size is now 3gb, I compared it with my boyfriend's and his is 109gb. What the hell?

How does an ENTIRE 65GB UPDATE uninstall itself?? I am so defeated. My wifi is capped per month so I don't even know if I can fully download it again until next month. I was so excited to come home and play the new update...pls help.

Edit: I tried verifying the files already, it just said 337 files were missing, so I'm assuming that's all of the update files.
