How to create text files in a for loop

So I have a library of excel csv files and I want to convert them to text files. (Changing the extension is not an option, unfortunately, because I have to process some of the data while creating the text files. So here is the question.

How can I read one csv file and create a text file with its data AND its name using Matlab?

Since I have many csv files, I will have to follow a for loop (I assume). Any suggestion is appreciated :)
