Benzoyl peroxide or Salicylic acid causes my pimples to not form a head and therefore lasts very long.

As the title says. If I use Benzoyl peroxide or Salicylic acid on my acne, it never forms a head and it becomes a cyst under the skin that lasts for a very long period of time and leaves a scar too.

Wherever I read, they always recommend to use these products but they always make my pimples much worse. What advice would you give me here?
