Upgraded 18.04 to 19.10 and no sound (Dummy Output)

I do not get any audio and the device list contains only 1 item: Dummy Output

I upgraded from 18.04 to 19.10 and I don't want to re-install ubuntu, I got a lot of important files there. (I usually distro jump every 3 days but currently I don't feel like it)

No earphone (I plug earphones into earphone jack) and no sound, also no speaker sound when nothing is connected to laptop

I enabled bluetooth and connected to my wireless earbuds and this is what I see:

but now the output device list contains only 1 item: Headphones instead of Dummy output
