Changes in book opinions *sort of spoilers*

This will contain spoilers for Believe Me and Just Roommates. Not true specifics but the directions that give you an idea of the path the book will or did take.

I'm beginning to see we don't have much choice in these books sometimes which is a little disappointing 😕

Just Roomates: I finally caught up on Just Roommates from having had to re-read book 1 and finish the available chapters (6) in book 2. I didn't realize how frustrating it is to play this MC! She's such a thirsty b1tch and I don't really have a say in the matter which is why I think it's so frustrating. If you want to play thristy this is definitely one of the books I'd recommend but not if you want to focus on one LI.

I knew pretty early on I wanted to romance Colin but even though I've only paid for diamond scenes with him, and tried to shut down any of the other LIs any chance I'm given, my MC is still trying to put BS distance between them because she's 'too busy' and she has comolicated feelings for the other LIs. No you don't! I told both the other LIs I was not interested in them or their type.

So after always shutting down the other LIs my MC tells her best friend that she really likes Colin a lot and that he likes her (and he wanted to make offical!) why can't I choose to make this official?!

This not how I wanted my MC to act which is part of my frustration 😕 And shutting down the other LIs is basically impossible because even when I flat out told Tom he wasn't my type and I wasn't his I explained to my best friend (same conversation from above) that even though I said this my feelings for him/situation was still complicated. No it's not! Sorry to repeat myself.

Believe Me: This started out so cute and I was in it until the last chapter. Litterally the last chapter they basically shoot you in the face with a shotgun point blank. Yes, that is a knee jerk reaction but I just finished it and my heart broke. They need to have better categories because the expectations for what type of romance this was going to be were not set.

The first chapter does foreshadow the end but until you've reached the end it's not clear what it was tryong to tell you! Sorry that pribably won't make sense unless you've read it. Thankfully it is the only book that ends this way, so far. But now I'm really nervous about the other ones I'm currently reading. I want my diamonds and keys back for this one 😡
