Booked to fly to the UK via France, then Trump declared a travel ban meaning I would have been refused re-entry to the U.S. if I had flown- literally /just/ over 48 hours before I was due to fly I filed a refund request. Kiwi "customer service" (like the same departments at the banks or any other of these businesses run by the same type of cretinous suited shitcunts) were useless, poor woman had no choice but to recite the usual "company policy" bollocks at me. Wouldn't change anything under guarantee as none of the airlines have changed anything despite the travel ban- and they won't until the last minute. They probably won't change the outgoing flight at all. In fact, if anything does change, it will be covered by the "Force Majeure" get-out clause, which basically says "We didn't buy insurance for such eventualities so we get to keep your money" So, basically, I lose $1,000 to some spinless prick behind a desk who apparently needs my 50 hours' with of pay more than me. Presumably for "expenses" like underage prostitutes and coke. Fuck Kiwi, and fuck all businesspeople, everywhere, because they are ALL THE SAME.
