I am new in rust, what should i do to get weapon blueprints ?

Hey there. First of all, i have the game since launch but played it rarelly but i know some basics already.

I am playing on a SOLO server and i just got a level 2 workbench. It took me a week to make 500 scrap. I do like 20 scrap per hour or something (yes i know there is a recycler and i always use it IF i find stuff). I check always roads and monuments etc. but those boxes that i find, only contain stuff that give me cloth etc. when i recycle it but not scrap (very unlucky i think or it is really hard to find / make scrap in this game).

Anyways. I made finally 500 scrap and got a level 2 workbench. What is the best way for me to get weapon blueprints or scrap at least, when having no weapons except bow, revolver and double barrel shotgun.

I ask this question because as i said, its hard to find or make scrap. You get only 1 or 2 scrap out of those "containers" that you can destroy on the roads and thats what i was doing for a week.

Also i spend 10x 75 scrap on my level 1 workbench with hope to get a double barrel shotgun blueprint or any weapon, but i got none of them. I got now a revolver and double barrel shotgun blueprint by using the player markets / shops. But i cant find riffles, smgs, or anything.

So how do people find so fast blueprints for these riffles etc. ? specially after a BP wipe.

Funny thing is, in 18 hours, the server that i am playing on, is getting a normal wipe. Blueprints still stay. But it took me 7 days to finally get a level 2 workbench or find 500 scrap... so i need to know now how i find blueprints for weapons fast before the wipe starts.
