Hypnotherapy question

Hi I’m trying to work out if these are delusions of real. I’m scared I’m being hypnotised by my psychologist team and being made to forget about it. Like I thought at first it was a delusion then I remembered in Good Will Hunting they took Will straight to a hypnotherapist when he was brought in so basically is this allowed??? Could I be hypnotised to tell these people about my childhood or something?? Or is this likely a delusion ? Thanks.
