I think English should be the only language

Yeah, go ahead and do whatever you need to to defend your language, but there’s no chasing the fact that things would be easier if we all just spoke English. Now I would keep Braille for obvious reasons as well as American Sign Language. And any other way that people who speak English communicate. But I shouldn’t have been required in high school to take a foreign language. Yeah, I understand there are many situations where communication is key, but, do you think that a doctor who spoke only English would just so happen to be in a place where people spoke only Spanish, no.

I’m just saying we have the bulldozer that tears down the language barrier, and we carry it with us everywhere we go, so I see no need to learn another language when you have literally all of them in your pocket. And as for why I chose English, I’m selfish.
