New playstyle for contraverse holds? Playing with nova warp out of spite

Note: I agreed that the hhsn had it coming. Even after the nerf I still use hhsn. I genuinely love this class and want it to main it in trials. And now it's been nerfed to the point where you kill yourself for using it. At this point, it really feels like bungie really has a vendetta against warlocks. For one the self damage was completely unnecessary especially if you're going to reduce the range and the charge hold time reduction was a little too much. What I'm asking for really are tips for using hhsn after nerf.
