PS4 Remote Play on TV? (Iphone—>HDMI—>TV)

I am not sure this is the right place to even ask but figured I would cross my fingers and give it a shot. 🙏 😬

Does anyone know if using an A/V hdmi cable to project the phone screen to the TV will work with the PlayStation Remote app?

My only concern is that I see a lot of apps don’t support this (mainly ones that cost a sub. fee like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime etc.) and I’m having trouble finding reports on whether the PS remote app does.

Background: The hdmi port on my PS4 broke so I have been using remote play a bunch. I do plan on getting the hardware issue fixed but in the meantime would like to project to the TV through these means if possible. I’ve been playing turn based games so the input delay hasn’t been an issue but would very much like to see things on the TV before I get the port fixed.
