A question from a Brazilian comrade
Here in Brazil gun laws are VERY restricted, only military personnel are able to buy privately and even they have difficulty carrying they’re weapons for protection, and most left wing party’s here are strongly opposed to Weapon allowance policies, although the right, (especially the high ranking officers of the Army and lower rank soldiers of the military police) all have a constitutional right to at least have they’re weapons at home, although weapons would be WAY out of reach for the common workers, organizations and joint political intrigue like the SRA could eventually lead to mass production of Brazilian firearms and distribution among the working class, what you comrades think of this situation ? Because the only other 2 options we leftists have here is buy them illegally, a thing that would literally put us as terrorists and allow the Bolsonaro government to hunt us like dogs, or affiliate with criminal gangs in order to secretly stockpile weapons and ammunition, the thing is we already tried this strategy and ended poorly with us the Left, creating one of the biggest mafias in the country , now they run wild, although they’re leftist ancestry makes them having a “Robing Wood” mentality it’s not uncommon for them to just be a bunch of thugs that cares nothing about the working class and just cooperated with the working class so we don’t rat out they’re bases of operation...
