Filing taxes, price range?

Hi all, First time going to accountant to file taxes since declaring independent from parents. Was wondering how much do y’all pay on average to file? I got a few stocks in addition to the usual w2 income. Got quote upwards of $300?! Is that expensive? Thanks in advance!
