Dead By Daylight crashes PC joining a game

Simple. I can run Dead By Daylight fine and get into a party fine, but once we get matched with a killer and press "Ready", I get to the loading screen and the game crashes. My monitor goes black and doesn't turn on again. I can't even press the restart button my PC as it simply doesn't do anything - I have to fully turn my PC off and then on again. I updated drivers, and this is a fresh install of DBD.

I always seem to be having bugs with this game...
