Post update, right controller trigger stops working

So after a bout of insomnia, I decide to fire up my computer and enjoy some VR, only to note that for whatever reason, my right controller trigger stops working in some applications, notably the Windows Mixed Reality interface, H3VR, and Hellsplit Arena. This is definitely a software issue, as the right trigger still animates when I press it in SteamVR or in the starting home WMR interface, and it still works in the SteamVR menus and in certain SteamVR apps (Payday 2, Pavlov). It just doesn't activate any menus or buttons when I pull it in the Windows Mixed Reality menu (accessed by the windows button) or in the aforementioned two games.

I have a first generation HP WMR headset.
