Question about sugaring...

I’m new to sugaring. Been wanting to try it for years now but only recently went for my first session. I immediately loved my results and being a long time shaver, I’m blow away by how little growth I have being 4 weeks out from my appointment. Was just curious if anyone knew if I keep up with sugaring, will it eliminate my hair growth or does it just slow the growth? Any tips and tricks/advice is greatly appreciated as well!
