New AM pay question

Firstly, I apologize if all the new AM questions are getting old. My question is regarding the pay structure of a new Area Manager.

From what I understand, the salary pay is on a monthly basis. So does that mean I will receive my first paycheck after working the first month? I start work in April, should I expect my first paycheck on my first day or the month after?

Also any advise on using the relocation bonus? Can it be used for a down payment in a house? What if I don’t use it all?
