Does anyone else find car set ups to be needlessly difficult
So I am trying to experiment with car set ups for the 718 Cayman. I don't know what any of this stuff does, but iracing does a pretty terrible job explaining it IMO. Then to test the setting change, I have to deal with tires that are never exactly like the last set of tires, essentially makes it impossible to determine if there are any discernable improvements.
I just find the descriptions extremely lacking. No infographics, no information of how your setting changes are altering the car, other than more/less. Is there a better way to do this?
It just seems pretty crappy that people with this arcane knowledge (or the development team). Gets a much better sense of how to make these adjustments to benefit their racing, and the average Joe is left with a base set up and inadequate tools to improve the set ups in any meaningful way.
