Sam Houston Forensic program

I talked to a current student and she said she got her offer around mid-end Feb in 2019. I emailed the department and was told that my application is still under review by the committee. Has anyone also applied to SH or heard back from them? I feel like I'm either rejected or on some kind of unofficial waitlist.
