I have a friend overseas, we want to game together. Looking for asynchronous multiplayer games.

A friend lives in Lagos. We want to play games, but due to his poor internet connection and the time difference, it's hard to play at the same time.

Can anyone think of an asynchronous multiplayer game where we can take turns at our leisure?
