Chaos magick- imagery and symbology Q's

Greetings travellers! I am reletively new to the organized community of chaos magick but am familiar with the concepts. I grew up totally isolated from the world of the occult and over the years developed my own world view parallel to that of chaos magick; in fact i have been performing rituals of sorts, theorizing on the multiverse, holding many contradictory beliefs simultaneously, going deep into trance states while creating art or dancing, and basically have found that my practices and way of life line up quite nicely with chaos magick. I have experienced the shifting of reality from my own subconscious desires and dreams, and upon learning that this is an actual modern school of thought has piqued my interest.

My questions are mainly why is chaos magick so focused on traditionally satanist/cthulu-esque symbology and dark imagery? I understand it's chic and feels dope to be a dark sorcerer, but it is surprising to me that there is no "white" chaos magick; or rather, light hearted, non-mythology or non-spiritual (no demons, angels, gods, etc). I understand that one of the tenants of chaos magick is to believe in these symbols temporarily for there potency and then discard them, but i am mainly curious as to why its all darkness and doom. I'm not interested in pentagrams and goats and black candles and communing with demons and all that of the macabre nature.

Any insights or recommended readings are welcome! Cool community here! :)
