Wyze Lock Manual Lock/Unlock doesn't work because motor is in the way.

So I've been having problems with my Wyze Lock, the position that the app leaves the motor in after it's locked/unlocked the bolt means I can't quite unlock or lock the door without back driving the motor. I've been talking to support about this without any solution, the replacement lock they've sent has the same issue. Has anybody else seen this? I assume it's a function of how many degrees of motion the deadbolt turns through, seems like the lock is expecting at most 90 degrees of rotation, while my Kwikset lock goes through probably 110.
