Just a little note of support

Hey guys! This is my first Reddit post! I’ve been a longtime lurker in the keto group but I want to put a good word out there for people who are slow burners as far as success stories. I see a lot of people posting these amazing pics of losing a ton in a short amount of time, which is great! But there are also some of us who are doing great, on a slower pace! Do not get discouraged if you are not a keto poster child! I’ve been on keto since mid November. I’m only 20 lbs down, BUT no longer prediabetic, no longer on Prozac, no more reflux, less joint pain, no more bloat, more energy, and I don’t get sleepy at work mid day. I recently adopted a dog and she’s keeping me active and out from in front of the tv. It’s not a race, it’s a lifestyle. I’m losing an average of 4lbs a month and I’m ok with that. The benefits go far beyond the scale. So don’t get discouraged if you are not the “incredible shrinking person”! So let’s hear it for the slow burners too! Thanks everyone!
