Half-Elves are just better than Half-Orcs

There's some debate about this at my party, someone claims that Half-Orc's are better and I flat out disagree. My party member stated that HO get's +2 strength and +1 con, as well as proficiency in intimidation, the brutal critical feature, and the only saving grace I see for the HO, ~~~tears of grace~~~ Relentless Endurance.

My response was that a Half-Elf could get +2 to charisma, +1 to strength, and +1 to con. Only 1 strength stat below to HO. Plus, they can get proficiency in Intimidation as well, and something else. Lets say Athletics. So now my HE Fignter is nearly as good as his HO Orc, meanwhile I have +2 higher charisma so my proficiency in Intimidation does more for me.

The only thing the HO has over this is Relentless Endurance, which I can get with a level of Shadow Sorcerer, and now I have to make a charisma check for it.

Am i missing something, here? Are Half-Elves drastically better than Half-Orcs? I could be totally missing something on their racial pages, but I really don't think I am.
