My husband is the best husband in the world :)

So I have been reading all the messages about husbands/wives and marriages and I thought i'd brag a bit :)

We have been together for 11 years this year, and I still love him as much as I did when we first met. The honeymoon period hasn't passed for either of us and I could almost cry when I think about how much I love him.

I have been struggling to find work since we met, for various reasons, and not once has he held it against me. He doesn't complain that I don't contribute financially, even when we go through a rough patch, he just reassures me that what I do for the house and him is enough, (although the money won't hurt haha).

My mom is ill, (Lupus, SLE), and she was going through a really tough time last year. My parents called me, (in South Africa), and they asked me if I could come to Germany, where my parents live, for two months and help my mom. I didn't even have to ask him, he just said "go love, your mother needs you". Best husband ever

I don't have many friends, never really worked out. Most people think i'm weird or intimidating or whatever, but he has never called his friends "his friends", they are our friends, because he knows I don't really have anyone else apart from my best friend who lives in another country.

His family has accepted me fully, which is awesome, and I think one of the reasons for this is because they can see how much he loves me when he speaks to/about me.

I have been working on a project for the past 9 years, and at times he would go to bed alone because I would stay up waay past bedtime to work on it. Not once has he complained that he has to go to bed alone, and when I speak about the project, he is genuinely interested and he wants it to succeed as much as I want it to.

I have also, (not anymore, I officially stopped last year), studied through correspondence. He supports me with this whole-heartedly and he never puts me down when I used to get bad marks. He understands how important education and learning is to me, and he supports these decisions as if they were his own.

I ask a lot of questions, about everything, I probably ask about 25-50 questions a day, and I also ask myself questions when i'm alone or he's at home. He always answers my questions with a smile, or a shake of the head, (in confusion, not irritation), and answers as honestly or directly as he can. He never gets irritated with me when I ask questions, and he sometimes challenges me regarding those questions.

I could go on but I would never stop writing, I just hope I am/can be as important and amazing to him as he is to me.

I love you, with everything I have and thank you for being you :)

He doesn't really use Reddit so he will probably never read this, but I thought i'd share anyway, I just wanted to share how awesome he is. Sorry for the TLDR
