TIFU by leaving my car in my mechanic's parking lot overnight

I was having some work done on my car from my long-time personal auto mechanic. It's been a normal thing to just slide my key under the door with a note with my needs and he usually calls me first thing the very next day. It felt normal.

But no. Today I fucked up by parking my car in the usual lot after enough time has passed to let the area go to shit, and so a tweaker rolled up next to my car and tried to siphon gas with an ELECTRIC PUMP. Within moments, a spark happened on his pump's circuit and my car gave him a crash course in thermodynamics/combustion.

TL;DR: Tweaker tried to siphon gas from my car, made a spark, and boom goes the dynamite. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes!
