Stupid question how to get alerts from apps that don't have a Apple Watch app ?

Maybe it is obvious or simple but asking ? Thanks.

For example this app. Alarmed ~ Reminders + Timers

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/alarmed-reminders-timers/id371886784

Unless I should switch to a different similar app for better apple watch support ?
