AITA for getting pissed at my girlfriend?

I just got news that I was going to be competing in an athletics event in a few weeks time and I was super excited about it. I told my girlfriend as soon as I could and she got pissed at me.

The reason I told her straight away was because I knew that otherwise she'd get all pissy with me and ask why I didn't tell her earlier. I brought up that point and she replied with "I don't like athletics. I was going to be mad anyway". When she said that, that pissed me off. When I got pissed, she just left and said she doesn't like talking to me when I'm pissed.

I feel like I can't tell her about anything that I like doing just in case she gets pissed again.

AITA for getting pissed at her?
