Shambler deleted my game save

It was my first playthough and i got pretty far enough to fight the shambler and not die i got him low but then he uno reversed me(no you) and crashed my game and my save is gone. I have to restart...... the game but im kinda glad because in tht save i modded the game to the point where it was overwhelming now i only have a few mods but am underwhelmed.
