Vancouver BC meds donation

I’m actually in Victoria BC on Vancouver Island, I can meet at Swartz Bay or Tsawwassen/Delta. Last-minute diagnosis of a balanced translocation means we are closing the door on IVFPGT. They had the genetic results back at the clinic and let me go buy meds anyway thinking I was starting standard IVF. We’re talking about maybe using a donor sperm IUI one day but who knows. I just want to throw in the towel. I have 4x 250mcg of Orgalutran and 12mcg of Rekovelle. I also have a sharps container. Please Reddit come through and help me get this shit out of my kitchen so I don’t have to fucking look at it anymore. I just want to turn all this negativity heartbreak crap into positivity and help someone. ETA: Rekovelle 😰💸

A reminder about medications

You may be considering sharing your unused medication with others to help them save on treatment expenses. However, it may be illegal in your country or state to donate medication without going through an intermediary. Wish I could help you. We're on Vancouver Island too but are still waiting just for our initial consult at the fertility clinic in Victoria (we were told it would be at least 10 months). I'm guessing that's where you've been going? We're also dealing with MFI and considering donor sperm. Always nice meeting locals on here. Hope you find someone to take those meds off your hands.

Wow, that is crazy that they are making you wait 10 months. I waited around on VFC for anyear and a half but I assumed I was low triage because of my age. We had a good experience at Olive aside from the whole too infertile for IVF thing. They’re expensive meds, I’d hate to have them just expire in my cupboard. They’re good until April 2021 so hmu if you end up doing IVF. We’re looking into ReproMed donor too now.

We have transferred our referral to PCRM in Burnaby. Fuck Victoria. But with the current situation, my husband's varicocele procedure in two weeks is likely going to be cancelled and there wont be any point in continuing anything until that's done...whenever that may be now. Blah.

Fuck Victoria indeed. The only bright side is that with closing this door we can stop putting our lives on hold for IVF and get out of Dodge. We’re going to move out to ON sometime in the next year. That’s insane that they’re making you wait 10 months. I hope that everything will be resolved for you guys soon, I’ve definitely heard a lot of peoples cycles and surgeries etc. are being cancelled.
