From the patch notes I understand that there is a set amount of ranks.
Anyone figure this one out yet?
Game was in progress before the update, hope that's not the issue, I'm quite far into the game.

There is a new option for titles which gives more then previousz but like others said, it might need a restart.
I dont know if this is possible in tw games but you might be able to roll back to an older version of the game, if you really want to keep this save file
Yeah, rolling back to 1.4.1.
Have turned auto updates on by default, my bad.
Played two turns on the new patch, hope that didn't do too much damage to my save file.
Edit: aand I can not load my safe file on the old patch, as it crashes to the desktop. I messed up.
Is there anyway to retrieve my safe file before I made the 2 turns?
Edit2: Found no way to revert the changes, loaded up an older safe.
I'm in a similar situation. Playing a Zheng Jiang game, update hits, can't research anything, can't issue titles, game is broken.
Did you make any turns on the new patch?
I did, then I tried switching back on the previous update and loading up that safe file. Crashed every time.
So I loaded an old safe, only 30 turns gone to waste, thank god. The only other safe I had besides this one is 100 turns in the past.
Unfortunately same situation as you. And I'm playing a game with a friend on the new patch now too, so I can't just swap back and forth.
I'm pretty sure you'd need to create a new campaign for it

You can revert to last update and finish this campaign Library>Left click properties >beta 1.41

Your campaign should run as it did before the DLC kicked in.
But im not too sure about it
