My friend referred to covid-19 as the "boomer remover"
Boomer doomer is also one
I wanted to make this post as I just saw one about the bad that it's brought and that made me sad. I believe this pandemic can show a lot of people's true colors and can help bring people together so that we see what needs to be done in the world to prevent an even worse pandemic. This has brought out the true leaders in lots of workplaces and has forced people to really do something.
I personally work in hospital IT and have seen so many different groups of the hospital come together to form a plan to be proactive against COVID-19 and it is beautiful to see all these people come together. It is VERY stressful but everyone is putting in tons of work and so many late nights up trying to solve problems but we are doing an insanely good job at keeping as many people safe and ready as possible.
I’m getting skills, and hanging out with family. Im exercising on a regular basis, practicing sign language, practicing drawing. I’ve also gotten so spend a lot of time with my Dad, and Sister. Already built a 1000 piece puzzle together, and are now building a lego bus. Both of these things we had around, but not enough time for. With all the stuff going around I’m trying to make the best of a bad situation, and My mental health has really gotten better.
I made a reddit account.
A commute to work that went from 45 minutes one way, to just 15.
