Bootcamp "Bootable USB does not have enough space."

I am trying to create my "Windows 10 or later Windows install disk" which is the first step of Bootcamp. I have tried to use a 250GB external disk and a 16GB flash drive as specified by Apple here.

Pictures are attached. What am I doing wrong? I have my Windows 10 ISO file ready to download onto the external drive. I am on a Late 2013 iMac.

Had the same issue. Somehow resolved by erasing usb driver in Disk utility and closing ane opening up bootcamp assistant a couple of times.

Darn, I have definitely erased and formatted the usb many times and have closed and reopened the program. It kind of just went away for you?
