So I caved in and bought the event pack early on (like 3 days into the event) and had maxed both of the upgrades with like 7 or 8 days left. I spent good part of the day on it by having it run while I worked from home, getting the easter creatures here and there.
But after getting the 3 SSP reward at near the bottom of the tier, I gave up, since the jump from 15% instant craft to the one after that was too damn high. And after looking at this post, I wouldn't have gotten even close to the final reward if I had kept pushing on.
I wish this event had the auto catch upgrade. Even 50% chance at max would have been fine while spending good amount of Nuclear Material.
Edit: I was able to get about 3000 points per day when I had the event pack and maxed the 2 upgrades. But at 4 or 5 days left, I got the 3 SSP reward and gave up at that point, thinking it'd be a waste of time. I also wished the final few rewards didn't had the consumerables that have the timed effects even if they were rare items or only affected during the event.
