That's what I was thinking. Light peak with their own interface would be pretty nice.

I hope this and similar things get implemented soon. They could even support the Light Peak protocol to suppert interoperability. I can imagine that induction charging is too ineffective and causes problems with radio tehcnologies, it really makes sense in the bathroom.

And I hope they implement this fast, the more I can eliminate cables the better. Speaking of which, I wonder why Apple has not yet made induction-charging devices, they have patents regarding those as well. I assume it still has some kinks to be ironed out, I remember that the Palm Pre TouchStone charger made the phone lose network when charging sometimes.
