Elden Ring v. EldenTec
To prevent myself from going completely hollow, I decided to look around in the trademarks cases. It seems that back in February of 2020, a suspension letter was sent to Bandai Namco about a potential trademark conflict with EldenTec's "similar" trademark. Bandai Namco could have been "refused registration under Trademark Act Section 2(d) because of a likelihood of conusion with such mark."

All of this cleared up after over a month's worth of legal correspondence, but now I am paranoid that this little puppy toy helped delay Elden Ring. We could very well be staring into the eyes of a true boss of dark souls. EldenTec... OH, EldenTec.
