My very first time watching this show

I just started actually watching this show for the first time this year. I've seen scenes and memes before. I love it! And what's more fun is I listen to Jenna and Angela's podcast episodes that correspond to the ones I watch that day. So far, I'm up to where Michael Scott Paper Company just made their first sale and Charles makes Jim give him "the rundown".

I'm really upset that I let people convince me this show wasnt worth the watch all this time. The humor is perfect. I don't understand why anyone wouldn't like this show. Sure, Michael can be kind of a lot to deal with at times, but dammit he grows on you. You hate him, but at the end of the day he's honestly just a good guy who wants to be liked and want a family, so you feel bad when he fails.

I do like the show but that first season was a bit hard to watch, Michael was really difficult to like in those first episodes. After that I agree with you, he became lovable

Michael I like the sound of your voice. You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to buy one million dollars worth of paper products today.

Grats, it’s a good ride. I never hated Michael, but I fully embraced him when he came to Pam’s art showing and said those words and bought the office painting.

That's the very episode that did it for me, too. I suppose hate is a strong word. I hate how he says the worst possible things as a boss and tries to throw Dwight under the bus when he thought he was in trouble. But then he can be a good guy, too. Ugh. He's a lot to handle.
