Probably some sort of global pandemic.

Before that, let's think about what other countries are doing when they are strong. Japan? Germany? Britain? U.S.A?

In fact, before the industrial revolution, China had always been a superpower, but it had not launched any aggressive war. Tibet? Xinjiang? Oh, no, that's because the people there have been challenging China, so China took over there.

Historically, Japan and North Korea were affiliated countries of China, and each year they offered to ancient China. But China's feedback is much more than that of the "offering", so the so-called "offering" is just a symbol. If China is a superpower, I think the whole world will follow the Chinese culture (just like the European and American culture now).

In music, melody will take the place of rhythm. Culturally, people will become more conservative and traditional. Especially at the family level, you know, Chinese people attach great importance to the elderly. Now, in novel coronavirus, many western countries have abandoned the treatment of the elderly. This is inconceivable to the Chinese.
