Housing advice for a rock band moving into the Bay Area this summer?

We're graduating college this year, and I got a nice job in Pleasanton, but we're gonna focus on the band and all move in together somewhere in the Bay Area. Preferably East Bay due to the job, obviously, but I was wondering what neighborhoods would be ideal for a 5-6 person house that might make a bunch of noise?
