[TOMT] 2000's Mobster/Crime show with line "See you on CNN" [repost]

I'm trying to find a crime TV show that aired sometime in the 2000s. At some point, the gangster/criminal shoots someone laying on the ground as they say "See you on CNN".

I saw this scene on the VH1 show Best Week Ever in 2004 or 5. At the time, I assumed I thought it was the Sopranos.

Shows that it isnt:

• Sopranos
• The Wire

Any ideas?
