A warning about Pokemon Home/request for help

When I originally set up my Pokemon Home and connected it to my Nintendo account I improperly input my Date of Birth as that days date. It turns out because of that my age for the system is now only a few days old and doesn't allow me to friend anyone till it reaches the age of adulthood in 18 years by my guess. I tried uninstalling the app then reinstalling the app and re-entering my data but it still prevented me from friending anyone. Apparently the inaccurate data is stuck to my Nintendo ID now. I did try not connecting it to my Nintendo ID but while it allowed for proper access I wasn't able to connect my account after that.

I have been in contact with support for both Pokemon and Nintendo and neither had any ability to fix my data. Their inability to correct the data or actually know who I could contact is a little aggravating to put in nicely. If anyone has any suggestions or contacts I could use I would appreciate the aid.
