OP should have just said that MIL uses a front-facing car seat. Then all of MN would have been on her side! Optional extras: MIL changes baby in disabled toilet MIL puts buggy in disabled space on bus They would be burning MIL at the stake for any of those!!!

OP: How can u stop MIL having time alone with DD? MN: You can’t. OP: But she uses the wrong car seat! And doesn’t cater for DD’s allergies! MN: But is the seat illegal? And are the allergies life threatening? OP: She also has an aggressive dog!
