You forgot to mention the biggest issue with the T100S which was the lugs which meant you couldn't swap out the bracelet. This is fixed for this model right?
Yes, very true. Thank you for bringing it up.
I wish Casio and Bulova would team up because a high frequency sweeping movement in this watch would make it perfect.
Get out of my head, a precisionist level sweep with solar charging and atomic radio time sync AND titanium? Shut up and take my money
That subtle blue in the crystal is magnificent!
Nice! I bought a Casio Lineage LCW-M100TSE from the same seller as you (the Japan Media Store). Love mine too, it's my first daily-wear analog quartz watch (after a decade of wearing a Seiko 5 automatic, and wearing digital watches before that).
Wow that is an fantastic watch. I haven't heard of this one so far. It's been informative.
Beautiful watch, I prefer the S100 for the titanium construction but that said this is still a thing of beauty.
It an awesome watch and I second your enthusiasm for it.
Aside from the top notch finishing, the best thing about this watch (especially if you have a few automatics) is that when you pick up the Oceanus in the morning you KNOW it is telling the right time, there is no uncertainty. Not only that, you know that that the time on the watch is precisely accurate.
Nice 'anus
Don't mean to be rude but what on earth does 'titanium finished' mean???
The original S100 had a fully titanium body. This T200 is made out of stainless steel and coated in titanium.
Are you sure because that makes little to no sense to coat steel in titanium..... I can't find any reference to such in the specs of the watch.

You have to run it through google translate in your browser (unless you speak Japanese). Three lines down in the description it says
Ahhhh, titanium carbide. That makes more sense. Was trying to figure out why Casio would coat a stainless steel watch in titanium which typically marks/scratches easier.
Such great watches. I love my S100
Can you swap the bands on this version?
Yes. Here is an example https://www.watchpatrol.net/de/eintrag/763900/
About the watch: radio controlled (i.e. if it is able to sync, it will lose one second in 50.8 billion years), titanium finished, with solar charging, power saving, automatic time zone and DST change, bluetooth connection (for time sync if radio sync is not available and also it can "ring" your phone so you can locate it), automatic hand alignment and perpetual calendar. In ideal conditions, it is a zero maintenance watch which keeps perfect time.
How it compares: This watch is a successor of the Oceanus S100. Some people might still prefer the "older watch" for a number of reasons:
Very common complaints about the S100 - which were addressed in the T200 are:
This watch is JDM only, so I had to import it to EU. All in all it cost me around 500 US dollars. I received the watch in the last 24 hours so I will avoid any absolutes. But it is love at first sight.
How it compares to other watches I own in this price range: I own a Seiko presage SSA377j1. The watch cost me around the same as the T200. The fit and finish on the Casio is miles and miles ahead. The Casio T200 is a quartz, the SEIKO is an automatic - difficult to make any comparisons there. The open heart and smoother second hand movement make the SEIKO feel more alive - the CASIO feels more like a high-tech machine (this is very subjective). The SEIKO has no lume, the T200 lume will burn out your retinas.
(PS: this is my first post, I do not know what more to write but I will be more than happy to answer any questions.)
Anyone who doesn't appreciate the wizardry these casio oceanii can do is someone i can't comprehend. I love me some spinny gears of the swiss and Japanese varieties, i love me some overpriced underfeatured swiss quartzes, but these Casios are definitely awesome watches and i hope to add one this year.
Beautiful piece of kit! Welcome!
Fantastic first post. Where/how did you import the watch? I love this watch but I can’t figure out how i can have it delivered to France.
I bought it on ebay at https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/japan-media-store . The entire procedure took 18 days (dispatch by the seller, shipment, customs office, delivery to me). The first time you will have to deal with "importing" the watch to EU is when the customs office tells you they have received a package addressed to you and they want to know what is inside (I had to electronically send them the invoice from ebay and a screenshot of the payment I made through my VISA - this might differ in France but since we are both in EU I imagine it will not be TOO different).
Thanks.
Hey, its a really nice watch, want to get one myself and also in the EU, where did you buy it from?
oops just seen the answer below.
